May 2007 Update:
I've retired my Volkl Catapult 4 racquets with the recent upgrade to Prince Tour
Diablo Mids. So, I no longer use the WonderWedge.
There was a lengthy discussion about this this product,
the Power V-Grip (aka WonderWedge), on the Tennis Warehouse message board.
It was an interesting little item that makes learning
grips for novices quick and easy . For intermediate and advanced players, it was said to
improve their power and spin on the tennis ball. How? The product exaggerates the surface
area of the key bevels for added leverage and traction delivered during the stroke.
Just like other serious tennis enthusiasts, I'm always
looking for ways to improve my game, so I figured it's worth a try. Besides, it is
inexpensive enough compared to other expenses related to tennis (e.g., strings, shoes,
grip, etc.).
I ordered the product online. The product came in just a
few days.
The following pages provide pictures I've taken of the
product and how it installed on my Volkl Cat 4 racquet.
