Here are some tips for this STB.
Find out Firmware Version
Tip from Andrew Pollner: On the Samsung
T-150 here's the way to find out what version of firmware you have:
- Press the "menu" button on the remote
- Move the remote pointer to the "Help" box (a yellow outline highlights the
box)
- If its set to "Help/Off" press the "Enter" button on the remote to
toggle to "Help/On"
- While the pointer is still on the "Help/On" box, press the "Display"
button on the remote
- The firmware version and date will be displayed

Samsung now has released a software upgrade for the T-150 which brings the firmware up
to version 1.8 (from version 1.6). The upgrade is mainly to correct/enhance some audio
aspects of signal reception.
Updating the firmware requires a special cable (DB9 to minijack) which can be purchased
from the Samsung web site. Also, the software for the upgrade is downloaded from the web
site directly.
