 "I had problems with the remote control with my new toshiba 40h80. If I
was over 12 feet away from the set, it didn't work very well. Relocating the sensor to the
left side, just above the speaker dramatically improved the performance of the remote
control. The grill cloth is evidently less opaque to the ir signal than the screen. There
is a very convenient opening in the lower panel and I mounted the sensor with velcro tape
that I happened to have handy."
