Tip from Stephen Smith: "Put a square knot in the middle of 3 pieces of
fishing line or string, and attach them to the wingnut screw on each CRT lens. Drape
the strings out the sides of the set and put the screen back on. Now you can pull the
sides of the strings to focus from the front onto the screen itself.
This method essentially consists of a piece of string about 6 feet long with a square
knot in the middle. You put the square knot loop on the wingnut screw sticking out of the
lens. Then you drape the side of the string out the far corners out the screen opening and
put the screen assembly back in place. When you pull on the string sides, the square knot
will tighten itself onto the screw."
