Wega Uneven Brightness Fix

Tip from Dale Beshansky: "9-885-006-75 is L504's new part number. (This
item is also available at Sears as part number 988500675 without the spaces.) It is on
backorder and they don't give an ETA. You may check on the part at http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/
and even order it on line. I have had a flyback on order since September 2000 and the ETA
is still not known so you can see how long it could take. The SBRT is to be reduced down 3
steps from where it is set. Try reducing the value and that may be enough without changing
the coil. "
Sony fix for the Uneven Brightness problem SHOULD work across Wega line if present L504
is a 10mH choke.
WARNING! DO THIS ONLY IF YOU ARE AWARE OF THE DANGERS
OF WORKING INSIDE TV SETS AND ARE HANDY WITH A SOLDERING IRON.
L504 is on the right side of the 'A' board or main board that lays flat
(horizontal). Orientation is facing the rear of the set with the back panel removed.
Sony charges $200 for this fix if your set is out of warranty."
